Grinding for items is something that I enjoy, but I also enjoy finding a good method to do it. I began farming the quests on small worlds, and it went really smooth. It also gives you the ability to pick up extra loot from ocean Chests, floating Islands and underground. Hope this helps you reach the magic 50.
