In this video, I’m documenting all my journey from the beginning until the end of my trip.
from 2009 I used to visit and stay in Sukardi Habu’s, they are my relatives who live in Gangga Island, but sadly, on March 2020, I had news that Mr. Habu is sick and passed away.
This is the first Episode Indonesia Fishing Trip Documentary Series, there will me more interesting and epic traditional fishing.
In this episode while covid-19 pandemi, happening, it’s my adventuroues journey from Jakarta to North of Celebes / Sulawesi, Manado, which is located not too far from the world most famous sea park.
As you can see in the video opening, the most interesting part of my journey is the traditional kite fishing with handline, no fancy rod, no fancy reels and no fancy lures, all hand made by the local fisherman.
We caught GT / giant trevally, barracuda, grouper, snapper, skip jack tuna, and many other fish only using kite fishing technique and extreme handline fishing on the next few episodes
