Headed offshore with my buddy Tyler in search of Mutton Snapper dinner. This type of fishing is very specialized and produces big bottom fish with the right conditions. Turns out there were quite a few unexpected guests this day and it was a little more difficult than I had planned. Watch as Tyler gets his big Mutton Snapper but also gets destroyed by some other giants that decide to show up!
Tackle is Okuma Solterra SLX 30II Paired with a Connley Custom rod. Spooled with #80 braid and 80lb leader. Hooks are Mustad 7/0 3407 SS.
