The Yamis, last survivors of the 9 aboriginal peoples of Taïwan, live isolated in the China Seas, on the island of Orchids. Like his ancestors, Syaman is a fisherman venerating “Black Wings”, the king of flying fish. When spring comes, the Yamis get ready to celebrate the opening of the fishing season. Tonight, they will relive the “night of the silver helmets”, when their ancestors were guided to the shore of their island by this strange and mysterious fish.
