There are so many different rod and reels, lines and lures, it can really be complicated. However keeping things simple is key to bass fishing. You can catch bass in ponds using just a few simple techniques.

In this video I will show you how for just $75 you can buy a rod, reel, line and 3 different lures that is going to have you completely covered when it comes to catching your first bass.

7. Rebel Pop R Tennessee Shad Color

You a bass pro shops stiko wacky style is probably the best way and easiest way to catch bass in ponds. No matter where you live in the country, bass will eat a bass pro shops stiko rigged wacky style. This worm is basically equivalent to a Yamamoto Senko but it is a lot cheaper. Simply cast it out and let the bait do all the work.

A 1/4 green pumpkin chatterbait is another fantastic lure for beginner bass fisherman. This lure when reeled though the water column, looks just like a bass main food in ponds, bluegill.
