In Adara, a little village on the Atauro island, only women dive. The island which is located in the Indonesian Archipelago, now belongs to Timor Leste. The women there, started to fish because everything went dry and it was impossible to make any plants grow, so little by little, they gave up on the gardens. Here, family is the backbone of the community, so anything caught during fishing will be shared among everyone.
