We’ve all heard the same things about night fishing. Traditional knowledge like “Fish big worms”, “don’t forget the rattle”, “you have to use a Colorado blade” are constantly passed around like fact. The truth is, night fishing is very similar to fishing in the day. Whites, browns, chartreuses, are all viable color options when night fishing, you just need to figure out what your fish prefer. As a rule of thumb we’ve found that darker colors work on darker nights (new moon) and brown, white, and chartreuse work better on right nights (full moon).
