There is never one way to do anything and something as simple screwing in eyes or hook hangers in fishing lures is no exception.
For both wooden and 3d printed lures I tend to with screw eyes as they have proven track record, these stainless steel so they don’t rust and a little bit of epoxy is enough to stop them twistingin use.
