Fishing is not just a sport, its an art. A lot of patience and hard work is required to be a part of it. In west Bengal during monsoon, arrives the season of fishing where people use various traditional method for fishing in fresh water lakes.
Two types of bait is used in this particular style, Ground bait and Hook bait. In local language is it known as “Chaar” and “Tope”. Through this film I have tried to capture the art of fishing in West Bengal.
