Fishing boats, plastic nets and fishers (Fishing documentary in Ghana)

Documentary
Through the sea and the coasts of Ghana, in Africa, we look at the fishers, their job with their nets and boats. Fishing is an important aspect of Ghana economy. The opportunities which the sea provides are a fundamental source of sustenance for the local fishers; however some of these fishing practices are unsustainable for the environment because of the plastic pollution that they generate. Unfortunately, despite the efforts of the government, plastic nets are still widely used by the local fishers, causing an irreversible pollution of the sea and the coasts. It’s becoming a real environmental catastrophe and an ecological disaster which involves the beaches (with problem for the potential tourism economy) and the health of the african seabed.
