Crappie Fishing for Dummies

In this fishing video I am chasing Lake Wylie crappie in winter. Winter fishing for crappie on Lake Wylie can be fun and rewarding if you can pinpoint the depth that the crappie are holding at. The Lake Wylie crappie population is stable due to reasonable creel limits on crappie bother from North and South Carolina.

On this trip I was crappie fishing with minnows. Minnows are an excellent crappie bait. Crappie can be caught on a variety of baits, but minnows and jigs are the most popular methods. I think minnows are the best crappie bait.
