7 Days Solo Survival – Breakfast Whole Fish Grilled in Primitive Fire Pit – Rare Fish – Final Ep 4

Equipment
Final day (recorded so sad!) of the 7 Day solo survival camping and fishing trip. I catch a super rare fish, and then cook a whole fish for breakfast. Afterwards I went for a surf by myself in some really fun waves before packing up and moving camp once again – Sadly I accidentally deleted the last night and day of this trip, I feel so upset because there was some amazing footage that is now lost forever!

Consuming the fish – The fish is called a Bluefin Trevally (you can see it has bluefins) and in Hawaii they are called Omilu. I catch and cooked the fish whole on hot coals in a primitive style rock fire pit for breakfast, was one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had ever had – The fish has white firm meat and is also great for sashimi. This way of whole baking the fish on wood coals is the best way to eat this fish to leave no waste.
