This is a mini-documentary I recently finished for the Town of Granby, Colorado. This was their 30th annual 3 day fishing tournament and they invited me to document the big event.
Nearly 1,000 anglers registered for the multi-day tournament.
The contest is put on each year by the Granby Chamber of Commerce in association with a host of local sponsors.
The 3 Lakes Ice Fishing Contest featured a tagged fish contest this year, with the lucky anglers receiving a $1,000 cash payout for their catch.
The tournament also handed out thousands of dollars in gear, gift cards and cash prizes for participating anglers.
